Your hours will show on your account 3-5 days after being reported. If you are not able to renew your PTIN that means the IRS system is down. Education hours for the PTIN do not need to show in order to renew your PTIN. Education hours are only mandatory if you will be part of the optional program AFSP to approve Circular 230.
