Circular 230 normally generates within 30 days from the day you registered with CTEC.

The steps for the process are as follows:

1. We first reported the hours with CTEC and IRS.

2. You register with CTEC.

3. CTEC will report to the IRS that you registered with them.

4. IRS will send you an email when Circular 230 is ready for approval.
